Ballot Items Informational Meeting

Meet with Select Board on October 30th at 7:00pm at the Town Hall to learn more about the two items on the General Election Ballot that pertain to OUR town....

Shall the town of Bakersfield approve the Select Board to spend no more than $50,000.00 on Law Enforcement for not less than six months of service?

Shall the voters of the town of Bakersfield approve the sale of Brigham Academy for development with the following conditions;

-Development will include usable community space

-Future taxes on the property will be deferred for a negotiated period of time.

-The sale price, provided there is community space, will be for the token price

$1.00. If said community space is not provided, the sale price will be negotiated.

-The proposed use of the building must be approved by the Select Board prior to

sale.
