The select board would like to remind all Bakersfield residents that Tannerite (once mixed) and fireworks, require an explosives license AND a permit from the Bakersfield Fire Department. If you plan to use Tannerite or set off fireworks, please be sure you are in compliance with these regulations. As a courtesy, please advise your neighbors of planned explosions. Violators of these regulations should be reported to the Vermont State Police. Questions can be asked in person at regular selectboard meetings or sent to the select board at: townofbakersfield@gmail.com
